Driving in Style DVD Entertainment System

(NAPSI)-Mopar, DaimlerChrysler's parts and accessories division, has just introduced their DVD Entertainment System for Chrysler and Dodge minivans as well as the Dodge Durango.
"Following the success of the VHS Rear Seat Video Entertainment System, a DVD version was a natural extension to our product line," said Cindy Moreen, marketing manager for Mopar Accessories. "And since the Durango has become such a popular family vehicle, we've designed a DVD Entertainment System specifically for our Durango customers too."
The DVD system for minivans features an integrated in-dash installation that plays both video DVDs and audio CDs. This new design eliminates the need for a separate video player, leaving more room in the cargo area. The design puts the adults in charge of changing discs, while discouraging backseat passengers and children from unbuckled movement within the cabin.
The Durango DVD system features an all-in-one design-the screen and DVD player are located in a sleek overhead console. This saves precious cargo space because the unit is installed overhead.
Both systems have an overhead liquid crystal display (LCD) screen that measures an impressive 7", up from the 6.4" screen that comes with the minivan VHS version.
To provide even more entertainment options, an auxiliary input has been conveniently integrated in each system to accommodate a video camera, CD player and most popular home video game players including Nintendo 64® and Sony PlayStation®.
Both versions include an infrared remote control and two sets of wireless headphones that provide separate audio channels. This way, rear seat passengers may enjoy a video or game while front-seat passengers listen to the vehicle's sound system. The entertainment system may also be heard by all on board through the vehicle's main sound system.
The new DVD Entertainment System from Mopar is available to customers who purchase a 2002 Chrysler Voyager, Dodge Caravan, Chrysler Town & Country or Dodge Durango.
