You Will Get 30% To 40% Off Every Part You Purchase !
You will need to have your own business, as mentioned above. Since you own a business that can legally purchase parts and sell them at a retail level, you are entitled to deal with the distributors directly instead of purchasing them through the auto parts store. You will be buying the parts for the same price the auto parts stores do - at jobber pricing.
The distributor will require a business address, a copy of your business and tax licenses, and shipping instructions (i.e.UPS, Courier, or US Mail). The trick is to find the different distributors.
By far the easiest way to locate distributors is to talk to a friend that works for an auto parts store. He would be able to get you the names and phone numbers of a few places very quickly. Since there are many distributors both large and small, there is an advantage in getting the names that the auto parts store uses - they have probably determined which are the best over their years in business.
You can also look in the Yellow Pages under Automotive. They could be under a number of different headings (depending on your phone book) but first look under Automobile Parts and Supplies - Wholesale and Manufacturers. Make sure you search through a few phone books from the nearest cities. Most of the distributors are found in metropolitan areas, not in small towns. They will send you their product line catalogues and pricing sheets upon request.
